Technika dvd recorder, help can`t tune tv in

Options
We`re trying to set it up, it plays dvd`s, this morning we`ve been trying to tune it in and we can`t.The scarts are as follows:
Vcr to set top box(sky)
Sky to dvd
Dvd to Tv on av1

We have RF aerial link to sky,
From Sky to VCR
RF link from VCR to TV
Do we need an RF aerial from the Sky to the DVD and if so which is best.

Our tv is a Shneider, and video is a Pacific and a Panasonic skybox.
Please help and save our sanity.
Thank you Val :o

You will need some input to the DVD-R.
I set one up yesterday thus:
    RF to digibox/sky
    SCART from digibox/sky to DVD-R
SCART from DVD-R to TV on AV1

Tune your TV to AV1 and you should be able to view and record digibox/sky and view DVDs. You will have to press the "source" (or similar) buttton on your DVD.
  • I found the best thing to do with this model was to carefully unplug all the leads and use it either as a paper weight or a novelty door stop !!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible ,noisy ,buggy software take it back(I did 3 times) and get a panasonic fantastic machine.
