mine works fine just make sure its close enough to the sensor

Make sure the magnet is close enough to the sensor/transmitter in order to register the wheel revolution.

The receiver/cycle odometer/computer on the handlebar will pick up the signal from the sensor/transmitter. It is not possible to place it too far away on the average bicycle.

Actually d900, my post was entirely appropriate. I did state that I don't want to buy one of these products if they were not much good- hence, I'd be saving money.

Just looked at some of your other posts, - you have the same quote on all of them. What is the purpose of it?
