Green Metropolis not showing my listings

I have 44 books listed for sale on Green Metrolopis at the moment. I was selling 2-4 books a month then I went away for a week in July so put my holiday settings on, removing it when I got back. I haven't had any sales since so I did a quick search on there for some of my listed books. Surprise surprise my listings didn't show up in a single search.
I have emailed GM but dont expect a reply for a couple of days.
Anyone else had this problem?
What alternatives to GM are there? My books are mostly paperbacks and just the usual stuff - best sellers etc, popular authors both childeren's and adults so nothing specialist, and all in good 'nick' so would only car boot as a last resort.

I thought of Amazon but the pricing gets a bit silly sometimes; at least with GM you are guaranteed a fixed selling price.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Yup - anything that is too cheap to sell on Amazon, I stick on GM - but with low demand for those books, (and on a low traffic site) they don't sell for ages.My TV is broken!

I find a lot of books take ages to sell on Greenmetropolis - some of mine have been on there for years. You could try deleting them and relisting them so they appear closer to the top of searches.
Ebay is worth a shot - list them for 99p with enough postage (eg £2.50) BUT be quick before Ebay introduces free postage on all books (in October I think). Generally though a lot of popular paperbacks that have been around for awhile will not sell well anywhere as there are just so many 2nd hand copies around.
Otherwise if you are looking for new books to read try swapping them on Readitswapit. If no one wants your books on Readitswapit then Bookmooch is pretty good for getting rid of books BUT only good as long as you want some of the books listed on the site (you get credits for all the books you send but you have to pay postage). If you're willing to send stuff overseas (surface mail is acceptable and about the same price as sending a book in the UK) you get enough points for 3 books from the UK for each book you send overseas.0 -
Is it possible that you were looking at books where there are more than 20 copies available? If so, unless your copy happened to be one of the 20 visible listings then it will not show up but will be 'waiting in the wings' as it were until earlier copies listed sell and yours will eventually appear. I have quite a few books listed but not visible as yet - storage isn't a problem so am happy to wait it out.0

Well I got an email back from GM explaing the 20-book rule, all fine and dandy but that didn't explain why when I did a specific search for one of my books it didn't show up at all, let alone 20 copies of it. Have emailed back and still waiting for an explanation....
