Glossary question, sorry if in the wrong place

I was just wondering if there is a glossary anywhere on the site (can't find one) - I'm new here and not familiar with alot of the terms such as PPI - I don't want to be a pain pestering for answers - so just wondered if these are listed anywhere?

There is no glossary on this site. For abbreviations use http://www.acronymfinder.com/ , but be prepared for some guessing. For example, PPI = 'Payment Protection Insurance' is No7 in a list of 62 definitions with hundreds other available.
