    Hi,

Does anyone know if you have to take a bundle (TV, Phone and Broadband) to get this cashback or if you can just get it from the fibre optic broadband.

    Cheers

The website says packages or bundles so presumably for any individual service or bundle thereof

    Thats makes this very cheap...!

If you take out 10MB broadband (without a phone line) its only £6.25pm after cashback!!!

Thats cheaper than the O2 offer (£7.50 pm for 8MB)

Thats cheaper than the Orange offer if your not covered in the 65% range or not with Orange (£7.83pm for 8MB with a 10GB limit)...

Cashback is not guaranteed but with offers like this there are generally few problems (in my experience).

Hi can you help me out here, where do you get those Virgin figures from and over what period are you discounting the cashback ? Looking at the Virgin site 10mb is £5 a month for 3 months, £14 after that Or without a Virgin Phone line £15 a month for 3 months, £20 after that so if I want 10mb and no phone I'll get it for free for 8 months and then continue paying £20 / month (based on getting £150 c/b which will pay for the subscription for about 8 months),

Have I worked this out correctly or am I missing something ? Best Roger
  • Gutted - I signed up last week with £65 cashback. Im having Virgin installed on Sat - do you think I can cancel and re-apply? £85 is a lot of money!

yep, that sounds right, would mean your paying £75 for a years internet, instead of £225.
    http://www.quidco.com/virgin-media/
note: actual page says UPTO £150
£150 for all cable package / bundles (cable tv, cable broadband, cable phone)
    £60 for Virgin Media National
Cashback is paid for the new customers only. No cashback will be paid on Dial up.

The £150 cashback is applicable to any Virgin Media package which includes a service provided by cable, i.e. Broadband, Broadband and TV Package, Bundles etc.

Virgin Media National means non-cable packages / bundles.

Thanks Andy, good of you, the damn ISPs just seem to make life as difficult as possible ... why, for instance, do Virgin quote on their website say £5 a month for 10mb when, in fact you HAVE to have the phone line @ £11 a month ie £16 / month !

    Anyway thanks again Roger
