Request to remove an abusive thread

Options
I have flagged a thread I posted for deletion.

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1872357

Could someone make sure that the entire thread is deleted.

Many thanks.

I don't see why I have to be subjected to abuse from idiots with nothing better to do.

This has made me very wary about posting anything on this site again.

You try to do good by contributing to this site, but quite frankly with abuse like this, there's no point in me contributing any more. I don't need this nonsense.

I don't know how many times I had to say that I received the information via an e.mail, but trying to reason with some people is just pointless when all you get is abuse instead.

It really is a thankless task posting anything on these boards, you can get thousands of views with only two thanks. What's the point when all you get is abuse instead of thanks. There is no point.

  • Just a suggestion for this site:

For most sites you have to be logged into before you can even view the threads, let alone contribute to them. Having to log on and thus register (but only with one ID, not multiples) would stop this.

Also, there seem to be an awful lot of people with multiple ID's, and this is what causes the abuse to free flow and some even log on again as another ID to thank themselves or back themselves up in an argument.

Perhaps limit the user ID per IP address.

Essentially, something needs to be done to stop this nonsense.

Please refrain from making such silly comments for a subject that you know nothing about.

Sheesh, I've heard eight year olds in playgrounds stating such advice. Do you realise how childish this is?

I am not here for a debate, I have placed this here for the moderators to remove a thread.

COMMENTS NOT REQUIRED FROM ANYONE ELSE.

    END OF.

    Hi

    I have closed this thread.

As it says at the top of every page...
    IMPORTANT! This forum isn't moderated.
If you spot a spam, illegal, offensive, racist, libellous post or PM please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com
In future please report abuse via the email not via posting it in the forum, that makes things far more difficult - we do not deal with abuse in public.
I have forwarded this thread for you to the abuse team for them to look at.
    Kind regards
