hi, am thinking of setting this process in motion - my question is, and apologies if it has been covered elsewhere - if i send my bank a letter and threaten them with court (if it comes to that) will they close my bank account with them? when i changed to them a couple of years ago, it was an absolute nightmare getting my tax credits, benefits etc swapped over and i actually went 4 months without any tax credits! i really dont want to change banks, but, with nearly £500 in charges i could do with claiming some back so i can pay some debts? any advice?

I have heard of some banks closing the accounts after they have been taken to court- look at the website below. It is a possibility and so I would advise to open an account somewhere else in case it happens.- Use quidco and get money for opening one linked with a referer form here !(eg Alliance and Leicester)
