i am loving the 'benefit' cookbook!

and i think i have a slight crush on Bernadine :o as she is just sooooo inspirational!

made the chicken curry last night as our anniversary dinner.... nicest i have ever made.

between Bernadine Lawrence and Gill Holcombe my families food has been revolutionised!

    ooooh that book sounds really interesting!

    Could you give me a quick run down of some of the recipes in there and perhaps one full recipe ... just interested to see what the books like ... I always prefer to look inside a cookery book before I decide to buy it but can't do that on amazon!

    miser's muesli
    baked mackerel
    spicy mackerel
    roast chicken
    basci white sauce
    fish pie
    veg pie
    potato pie
    fruit pie
    chicken fried rice
    kidney and bacon pilaff
    cheese and tomato pizza (scone type)
    cowboy beans

    and many more

    Wow! it's expensive on Amazon. I got my current copy from there a few years ago much cheaper. I wonder if this is to do with it being mentioned here or just people loking for budget cookbooks?

    Looks good but too expensive...will have to keep a look out for it
    We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
