I am back

Good news and bad news really.
My eye is bad, but they think it is slow moving because I have had it for more than a few days and the position of it. Therefore I am not having an emergency operation, but having one on 23rd May. Yay
Bad news is they have found the start of a detatchment in my other eye, so I have to have that done at the same time
Thanks for all your support though, it has been appreciated.0 -
Well, better one op than two, don't you think?Lady_S wrote:Bad news is they have found the start of a detatchment in my other eye, so I have to have that done at the same time
Meanwhile, if you head over to the I wanna ... board, there is a thread there called "I wanna ... lose weight!" It's a sticky, and there's lots and lots of pages so you probably don't want to read them all, but if you want a bit of moral support while you try and lose even a little bit of weight before 23 May, it's a very friendly bunch!
Don't worry, no-one will suggest playing squash or jogging every day! :eek:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
just wanted to add some moral support really.
my uncle had cataracts removed from both eyes, and was absolutely terrified. but having his sight back (ok, so its far from 20/20 vision, but its much better than it was) has given him a new lease of life, because everything is so much easier now he can actually see what he is doing.
fingers crossed, and hope it all goes well for youknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
