About three months ago I signed up for a 3 month webhosting free trial with Streamline.net. After a couple of days I realised it wasn't for me and tried to cancel it. A few weeks ago I tried to log into my account to make sure it was cancelled and it wouldn't log me in. Today I discover they have taken £114 from my bank account without me knowing - no notice that they were going to do that.
I have called them today to cancel the account and get a refund but they say they have no record of the cancellation. What can I do?

This is standard operating procedure for Streamline. Do a Google search*. They tried something similar with me and in the end I got a chargeback on my credit card. Trading Standards need to be told about this outfit of cowboys.
I'd contact your bank and explain the situation.
