abbey bank charges

hi i put in a hardship claim with the abbey they have sent me a letter this morning saying they are at the 4 weeks stage that they endever to get back to customers within and they require longer is this a good sign as they have not just said no or is it prob just due to back log.

How long has it been since your first letter to the bank asking for the money back?0 -
