can i create a crossword on powerpoint?

can anyone help? hope so!

i am trying to draw / create a crossword on powerepoint so that i can get it filled in tomorrow as i get answers from the kids...

i know how it needs to look (ie i have the questions etc) but can i draw a crossword shape out on powerpoint or word?

Could you do the crossword grid using Excel (including the shading and top left number placement) and then paste it into Powerpoint?

oooh, i'll give it a go...am not great with excel but i's worth a try, thanks. otherwise i will resort to a good old flipchart!

Use Hot Potatoes software.

It still is free but technically only if you publish anything you create on the web, but to be honest if Rach is not good at Excel, hot potatoes may be a stretch (that said, it is an ace bit of software)
