What do you do if a Buyer wants you to end an Auction at a good price?

I have an auction running and have had 5 questions about ending my action early "With my best price?"

I have responded explaining I do not want to break any ebay rules, so will let the auction run it's course. Thanks etc bla-dibla

I have had others offering a price they would pay now. One of which I would accept.

Can I send them a "Buy it Now" ebay invoice even though it is auction?

All you can do is cancel and relist as Buy It Now. The problem is that they're likely asking you to end early so that they can get it cheaper than the price they expect the auction to end at. Personally, I always let the auction run.

or they could just want to get the item now?

If it was me, I'd leave the auction running and ask them to bid.

Agree with the rest, I would let the existing auction continue to run...

If they (those requested to end early) were outbid and still interested to buy, then you may relist another item and let them know...

Its obviously a sought after item if you have had that many questions about it! I would leave it to run and show all the questions in your listing to show the amount of interest you are having!

Or end it depending on how soon you want the money or they need the item. Completely up to you!

If you end the item early then you still pay the fees

Depends on how much you want the money, what you think it's worth, and how much entertainment you want from watching the auction. I've ended items early and sold outside Ebay before, at my own risk.

Definitely looks like a scam to me. It's rare to get one such question, let alone five!
I'd advise leting the auction run its course and watching for "suspicious" bids.
    Can I help?

Over the years I've had several buyers saying they'll pay £x immediately instead of waiting out the auction and without fail the item has gone for more than their offer. If they genuinely want the item they'll bid for it. Believe me, after making their low ball offer to you, they will watch to the end.

There's even one buyer that sends the following message:
    Hi there

Would you be willing to end this item early if I offered you £[XX] including postage for the [item]? I want it for my sons birthday. You would be doing me a huge favour!

    Thanks

    Mel

If you check their past purchases you can see their son's "birthday" happens to fall on different days each and every month!

Just another ebay scam - but this time to con the seller into selling it for less than it's worth!

I've had a few of these and ask them for something over what you're expecting to get for it. I have not yet had anyone take me up on it. I agree with other posts that they're looking to get it a lot cheaper than it should go for. I also think it takes away the fun of bidding!
