Sale Signs

In Debs today and an item I wanted to purchase was marked with red pen from £7 to £4.90. Sign above stand said 30% off marked price. Sent Hubbie to till why I popped to ladies. He was furious when I came out as after arguing with assistant she had produced the sign saying 30% off original price. I knew I was right though as I am careful to check signs. Sure enough the sign on top of the stand said off marked price. Got my £1.40 back!

Was very !!!!!! off today in House of Fraser when I bought some things and only after I'd paid did I realise that they had not taken off the 20% that the big sale sign said. I was told that the sale sign was only relevent to the shelf it was actaully sat on, not the whole table of stuff, like I had thought. The guy behind me in the queue had been taken in by exactly the same thing but he put his things back in time. Grr >:(

House of Fraser near us was a shambles too.

Bought a shirt which wasn't marked as reduced, but I suspected would be.

Didn't buy some gloves which were on a 50% off shelf, but NOT reduced. D'oh!
