The "guide" is a little out of date. And you need to remember that its a guide and not law - so just because one OR will let you have something, another may not. And don't copy the figures either on everything cos they will know!!! The OR looks at your SOA as a whole and in some cases may even compare it to your old bank/card statements; so if he can find transactions for say £300 a month at Tesco/Asda but you are now claiming £600, well......

Hmm agreed....a little while ago a fair few OR's started getting the same information on people's SOA's when bankrupt....they were not best pleased!

and the golden rule?....no two OR's are EVER the same as you read here what one gives wont always mean another will

Have just phoned my local court and have been told to turn up on the 'fateful' day of my choice.

Have to be there by 9.55 to wait in line. Am looking at next Tuesday morning......

The enormity of what I am going to do is dawning on me. I feel ill at the thought of it.

It will be fine. And you will be AOK. You just have to focus on Wednesday. Wednesday means that its all over and you are free. Not just from the debt, but from the harassment, the worry and perhaps the fear.

My soon2be exhb is gonna go radio rental when he finds out what I have done. The mortgage lender is going to be all over him and he will end up having to do the same as me. Although he's not working atm.

Everyone keeps telling me not to waste a thought on it but I can't help thinking how mad he's going to be. He knows nothing of my plans for BR, moving out yet or anything.

Tell me what you think of this: He hasn't given me a penny in 2 months-mortgage, money for dd, nothing.

He walks in the other day having taken dd for the weekend with a huge bag full of stuff he and his mum had bought for her. Whilst I was happy for dd, I couldn't help thinking that £20 would have been nice to go towards the shopping this week or some petrol for my car. The scary thing is I'll bet that gesture wouldn't have even occurred to him.

And man alive does he have it coming.....He's still not changed his address with any of the companies he owes money to and I've been sending the bills there for the last few weeks since he stopped his part of the DMP.

Sorry that link is a bad one; saying the page doesnt exist. Tried searching on the site but Im lost! lol! could you revise the link please? thanks

Dolly, men are barstewards! Or at least exs are! lol! My daughters father moved out six months ago and only last week did I, ME, pack his belongings, put them in the car and take them to his parents house. I put them on the driveway so as not be tresspassing (yep, its one of THOSE situations). He kept saying he had no where to put it all every time I spoke to him. I've learnt three very important words in the last few weeks.... "not my problem" :)
