Second Attempt Bt Blocked 18185

My Parents have changed from BT Basic to the full BT service. But when you try and connect to a override provider you get a message saying they are still with BT Basic.

I Have posted already and have sent two private messages to the BT but still no luck.

  • Got a reply from the BT Representaive. He told me my father was on BT Basic and therefore the line was blocked. HELLO we have switched from BT basic in may. The on-line billing is no longer for BT. On line the account is described as Unlimited UK Evening & Weekend Plan. Please can we have the line unblocked. Does any one know how to get this resolved.

    As BT company representative on here has failed, your next option is escalation - [EMAIL="ian.livingston@bt.com"]ian.livingston@bt.com[/EMAIL]
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    I can see that this account has been upgraded from BT Basic for quite some time now. I'm sorry that this problem hasn't been fixed yet.
