Aaaaah!!! The music on the "Breaks" channel of di.fm is amazing at the moment! Does anyone know how I can record it so I can play it back on my mp3 player?
The music is streamed, and you have the option to download a Winamp .pls file (at the best quality) or an oocPlus .pls file, or a Windows Media Player .asx file.
Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks in advance! :-)

Try Total Recorder for about £6 from http://www.highcriteria.com/
It works a treat.
I think it records as a 'wav' file but you can download Dbpower AMP Music converter to convert to mpeg or other format."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0 -
Thanks for the tip! I checked out the link and realised that Audacity (which I already have) can record the stream too! :-)
Time to pour another beer and get dancing!!!0 -
Take a look at Streamripper - it rips the stream directly, rather than just getting the sound output of your computer (which may include unwanted sounds). Open the PLS file in a text editor to find the direct URL to the stream.0
