Basically I am looking into buying a house with my partner.
Its brand new 3 bedroom terrace with energy rating of B.
We are mainly home evenings and weekends.
We go to the gym alot and shower there, so probably have no more than 3 baths a week.
Washing machine twice a week and very small fish tank with pump and heater.
I am thinking £100 for gas and electric a month, is this right?
Also the property is on a water meter, so im guessing £50 a month (do you pay water monthly or quartly)?
I want to get my figures right or over estimated so i can try and work out monthly costs of things.
Thank you

I have a 4 bed detached, with two of us living there. We pay £72 month for Gas/Electric and £22 a month for water (on a meter)0

3 bed detatched, upvc windows and well insulated, 2 adults living here.
our gas is around £600 per year and electric about £300 per year - i pay quarterly with ebico on receipt of bill.(had a new combi boiler fitted 4 months ago so hoping gas bills are cheaper still)
just had my latest quarterly bills, gas is £45 and electric is £77. im using hardly any gas at the moment so the boiler is saving me already.
i have a bath every day, gf has a shower, and hot water for dishes.
our water bill is £25 per month, were on a water meter too. always cleaning the car too and water garden in summer.
i reckon £100 to £110 per month will cover your gas, electric and water.
i dont pay any bills direct debit i hate them after numerous overcharging problems, i just save it in a different account (bill account) then pay the bills when they come.
hope this helps.0
