I just got back from my hen weekend... Absolutely amazingly perfect! Am soooooooo pleased with it all. We went to a bunk barn in the yorkshire dales (13 of us including my 5yr old daughter) and boy were we lucky with the weather. We did pony trekking, went for a meal out, and have just done lots of chilling n chatting in the sunshine. I organised some games, which all worked brilliantly, and of course there was lots of drinking too :beer:

Was so relieved as I was the one who organised it all, and I organised a kitty for breakfast stuff n things like that, and you do kind of worry whether it will work out ok, and other people would like it etc. But everyone commented on what a lovely time they had and how it was lovely to get to know some of their fellow wedding guests prior to the day. Kind of was reassuring for me as well that I am on track with all the wedding organising too.

I did manage to get some shockingly bad strapmarks tho - my shoulders are very red!! And I'm not looking forward to the scales, cos there was a lot of eating & drinking done this weekend! Who cares tho?! Loads of fun

Back into wedding mode now tho - 20 sleeps to go :j:j:j

5 days to go :j our Aussie guests arrived last night and OH and I have both finished work so ever so slightly more excited now.

Finished all the jobs we needed to do last week so just deliveries and stuff to pick up. M & S finally took the money for the cake yesterday.

Today's jobs: wait for thorntons delivery, tidy garden before the rain comes again and clean the house, pack for honeymoon if time.

Good start to the day. Finished menu fronts, delivery came early, OH and I spent over 2 hours in the garden. Went out for lunch and looked at 2 houses we are VERY interested in, got food shopping. Been in house minutes and sister rang, mum not well at all and in hospital. No diagnosis yet so trying not to worry, dad going back in soon. Not the best week but waiting to see what is wrong and if she can come up before we make a decision on the wedding. We have discussed it though so know our different options. Hope to hear something soon, I would like to get married in 5 days time if possible.
