When do you start to get an inkling you have a NPB?

Hi all,
I sold 2 x tickets to an event and the auction ended mid-morning on Saturday. It's now Monday evening and I haven't received payment or heard anything from the winning bidder. I was originally quite pleased when I saw they'd won as out of all the inane questions I received during the auction, this bidder actually asked something quite sensible before placing her bid.

I haven't heard hide nor hair since, and I know it's only been a couple of days and I can't do anything until day 8, but just beginning to get a bit twitchy. The event is only a few weeks away and I don't want to have to go down the route of opening a case against them, getting it resolved then relisting and selling the item in time.

Generally speaking, how long does it take before you begin to think you have a NPB? Sorry, I know that's a 'how long is a piece of string question, but any advice based on previous experience would be welcxome!

Thanks

I knew one of my current ones would be a NPB straight away, when I sold a collection only item to someone the other end of the country!
Its a pain, as they havent contacted me at all. I had to wait 7 days to open a dispute, then wait another 8 before I get my fees & re-list. I dont want to risk re-listing earlier just in case there is the remote possibility they will collect.
All this for a large item I was trying to get rid of quickly. Its now going to hng around for as few weeks at least. Grrrr!

I had a buyer win some clothes on 27.07. She emailed after the auction to say she would send a postal order, even though I offered paypal or bank transfer only. I messaged back and told her about bank transfer, she said she'd do that.. nothing. Waited until Thursday (06/08) to contact again saying I hadn't received anything. She replied on Friday saying that she couldn't do a bant transfer and would now send the PO.

Nothing received as yet. She has until Wednesday before I escalate. (opened the NPB on Thursday)
