amex card and airport lounge?

a quick question, i got the american express platinum cash back card.
does this allow me to access the lounge at the airport??

As far as i am aware this is only available to Platinum charge card customers.

That's right, it's only the Platinum charge card and not the Platinum credit card. I think even with the charge card, you still need to apply for a Priority Pass to get in free of charge although they may have changed that since I last had that card (back in the day when I could afford the £300 annual fee for the card!)

You do,but it is free. You also get free access at their partner airline company lounges which are generally the large US ones, i.e Delta, continental etc.
