Confusing bidder

Bidder causing me some confusion. They have bid 3 times on 3 different auctions for the same type of item. 3 times they have lost out to a larger bid so they have been offered a second chance. Each time they have ignored the second chance. Have put the same item up again and I'm sure they'll bid again.
Noticed they have bought 30 of the same item from elsewhere this year and not resold them on Ebay.

I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Well, two more auctions, 2 more bids which failed to win, 2 more 2nd chance offers bith ignored. Can't work out why they bid if they don't want to buy.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Maybe they don't understand what a second chance offer is ? Or perhaps they are selling these on ebay under a different name and are trying to keep the market value up.0

Possibly another seller just pushing up the price a bit.0

I've seen them having won about 30 from different people but have not seen them selling anything. One of lifes little mysteries I suppose.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Would be using another account to sell. I used to bid on competitors items, just in case something slipped through too cheap.
