Selling ex Army clothing

Hi, I've got a couple of ex Army items lurking in my attic (a camo jacket and trousers) and I wondered if its ok to list it on ebay?
I seem to recall seeing somewhere that it was illegal as ex Army items are classed as being Government property. I can't find anything which says you can't list them but I don't want to risk having a listing pulled as I've recently had two listings pulled.
The items I had pulled were Links of London boxes which other people also had listed but mine got pulled (for trademark violations - unauthorised item) even though they came from Links shop and there was no warning when I listed. Due to this I don't want to risk listing something which may result in me being suspended.
Thanks for your help

There are plenty of companies that sell ex-army/surplus clothing so how would the Army know that they are their property, are they marked or labelled in some way?, I doubt they would want the kit back unless it was top secret stuff like the invisibility jackets they have.
Adjusts foil hat and leaves the thread. :whistle:0 -

It's because selling a real box enables someone to sell their fake jewellery in it. You were reported, they weren't, yadda yadda.
Personally I really don't get why everyone wets themselves over links of london. It's very ordinary looking. Maybe that's why it's so easy to fake.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Yes you can list them they even have a category for it and there are loads of combat jackets and stuff listed, I listed some of my excess equipment a few years back but they did pull my sa80 mags listings when the new rules came in about firearms etc.

It is current uniform that you can't list that would let you impersonate a government worker. i.e. selling your royal mail uniform and someone using it to knock on old ladies doors demanding money for worthless letters.
As long as you state on your listing that its not a current piece of government uniform you should be alright. Maybe the keywords your using are incorrect. If in doubt then e-mail Ebay back and ask them why it was pulled. I have listings cancelled and asked them why only to be told that it was done in error and actually the listing was alright!0
