Sorry, could you re-type the above using paragraphs and punctuation, as it's really difficult to read.
If people can read it easily, you'll get a lot more advice.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

HELP!
On 16th June the promotion for sky + hd was that you would receive free line rental if you took out hd, calls, broadband etc which i did.
They didnt put through the order correctly, so it has only just been completed.
They now tell me I do not qualify for free line rental as the offer has changed. I explained that was the offer I applied for, and made 9 calls to customer service, who tell me there is nothing they can do, and i have to deal with billing only by email.
6 emails later, all of which i have not received a reply, I am getting nowhere. I have even asked to cancel under the 28 day cooling off period but have had no reply.
Today I finally got a reply saying the offer didnt apply in june, (although I have copies of several websites with this offer in june), they say i can pay 1/2 price (£5).
Also i am unable to cancel as its too late + i will have to pay £225 early cancellation charges.
Can anyone advise me on this?
As I was feeling nice, I "translated it"...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

Oh, now it's readable, I guess we need to give advice...
SO ccplum, you need to send a letter to Sky (recorded delivery) stating that you took out the contract on 16th June 09 of the following deal (enclose evidence - print out of relevant offer), and they have failed to honour it.
You then need to give them 2 options; they either honour the deal that they agreed to, OR they cancel the contract with no costs incurred.
Don't forget to mention that if they fail to do either of the two options, you will take them to court to sort it out...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

Don't forget to say it was that deal and that deal alone that you signed up to. Nothing more, nothing less. You didn't sign up to "whatever they had going at the time". Anything else is a breach of contract on their part.0

Sky's customer service is absolutely cr*p.0

i had same problem, never received 1/2 price line rental, e-mailed sky and told them I still had the original e-mail, reply £60 credit to my account so it pays to persist.0
