Ebico provide a payment card for both gas and electricity. The rate is the same per unit whether you are monthly, quarterly or card payment.

Can you not just turn of the main gas supply tap, situated near the meter?

Then forget all about Ebico, as others point out if you get a bill for £0.0 so what?

  • If you really aren't going to use any gas at all then why not keep the meter and keep transferring to different gas suppliers through a cash back site? As long as you don't choose a tariff with a standing charge you will be quids in, lol.

It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Telephone southern up, ask for a manager.

Inform them that you are not happy with the current meter reading route, and ask that manager to look into changing the route back to as it was, or when ever would be more suitable. They may have to take a few days to a week to get back to you. And yes, it can be done, depends on how much you persist. The same happened in our household, and got the meter reading route changed back to its original cycle.
