Which web browser are you using and what is your OS (Windows etc.)?
Error 404 means the page you requested doesn't exist or the web server cannot find it. Internet Explorer Error Messages explains this a bit more.
Is it only secure (https://) sites that you can't access or any site?
Please give an example of a site with the problem.0 -
hi... once i go to the bravehost home page, and then want to log into the members area.... the page comes up blank.....
also there is a chat forum... that talks about ptr sites cashback sites etc., that i can not get on to... that was the first one it happened to....
but my main concern is the bravehost one, as i can not get passed the home page..
i can get to my ebay and paypal secure sites no problem
i know this is going to sound a bit thick, but i am not really up on computers. but what do you mean by web browser and os ?Work to live= not live to work0 -
OS - Operating System, windows 98, windows ME, windows XP.
Browser - Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. - f you are not sure look at the top of the page where you will see File Edit View etc. At the end of this row you will see help click on that and at the end of this sub menu you will see something similar to About .......0 -
make sure you type the name in exactly. Some have .htm, some have .html some have .asp .
Some sites need you to enable cookies(look in tools in your browser menu),so that when you re access their forum ,they check to see if you are a member and if you aren't,you cant see the page.0 -
i think its window 98... and my browser is bt yahoo.....
with my cookies....i have been told to delete them regular is this right or wrong ? is that the problem? but i am sure even when i am deleting them i was sill able to get on the sites....

Have you checked for spyware/malware?
If you don't use them, I suggest you download, install and scan your system with Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware SE Personal, both free.0 -

Re bravenet website, are you typing in https://www.bravenet.com? That's the address you need to get to in order to log in to your bravehost address. Also note that your website address is http:// .......bravehost.com but does not have www in it. However you need to go to http://www.bravenet.com first.Torgwen.....................
