There is a place in St Davids Centre in Cardiff that does eyebrow threading, waxing and plucking. Not actually in any of the shops just as you walk through.
However last time I looked threading was £12.50 which seems overpriced to me

are there any asian beauticians in the area? if so they would be a good bet, since threading originatd from the sub Indian continent.

threading is good for this with sensitive skin, as it wll not cause an allergic reaction, as opposed to those methods which involve the use of chemicals.

it also gets less painful the more you have it done.
bargain shopping is the only way to shop :j

Hi, there is a place I use in the Heath, Cardiff called Amani's. Tel: 02920631852, 48 New Zealand Road. She charges £7 and does a very good job. It is an Asian beautician and can get very busy. I've been using her for over 2 years.
  • Somebody does the threading in a house in cardiff, i tried it, it was very good. She is trained to do it. It is quite cheap.
If you want I can give you her number.
  • I've heard they do threading in Debenhams in Cardiff, doe anyone know how much and to have the eyebrowns tinted please?

I know there is a "stall" in the new St David's 2 but not sure of their charges or if they are any good, can anyone help?
  • Hi,
Always use the "stall" which is called Glamour, in St Davids 2, have used them for months, really good. They charge £10 for the threading and £10 for the eyebrow dye. You have a loyalty card and once you have 10 stamps on it, you get a free treatment.
Have used Debenhams once or twice, which is the same price, but can never get an appointment, whereas never have to wait for the Glanour one.
    Hope this helps,

I usually have mine done at Superdrug in Cardiff for £5. It does say it's a half price offer but it's been that price for months. I have never had it done anywhere else to compare but I've never had a problem and I never have to wait.
