British Gas Homecare 200

Am thoroughly confused by exactly what this covers me for. Have had the cover for years and understood that it covered, in addition to boiler and controls, the hot water cylinder, radiators, valves and pipework. On the annual service checklist they give you there is a section called "Central heating annual service and plumbing inspection visit" which has 6 tickbox categories covering such items as " is the boiler working correctly", "is the cylinder OK", "are radiators and valves working", "any signs of leaks on visible pipework". The engineer hasn't filled in any of these tickboxes at all, not even N/A. He seemed more preoccupied in trying to sell me a Magnaclean at over £300.

Have read through their latest terms and conditions which seem to suggest that items such as the cylinder etc are now classed as "plumbing" which is only in Homecare 300 (not 200).

Would be grateful if anyone could shed some light please. Has Homecare 200 been in effect downgraded?
