Just had to put is somewhere...

Have any of you smokers out there tried e-cigarettes?

Bu$$er me gently but I went from around 60 ciggys a day to zero in 24 hours. Stopped smoking on 5th August and haven't had one since.

I'm just so amazed....best thing since sliced bread. :j

i got a super mini but was really dissapointed with it and gave up. I could barely get anything out of it and was constantly charging it.

Monday 3rd August was my last cigarette.

NHS scheme at my local adsa, £7.20 prescription gives me the "fake cigarette" and all the cartridges for a week.

And not had one since, no real cravings as the "fake cigarette" is doing the trick.

Not using that many cartidges either.

Got hee haw to do with motoring....:rotfl:

Loathe to advertise but I have bought the Titan 510 after a bit of research (and plenty batteries). Battery life is poor but I'm over the moon with all other aspects, especially the vapour. Hopefully all the plus points of smoking without the harnul bits (OK it's still an addiction but at least it's a start).

i gave up 2 and a half years ago without any aid, just went cold turkey,i think that makes you more determined to never touch another one.

one of my mates has been off them for months now but uses the patches and just cant seem to make the final transition from patches to nothing.

another friend tried the e cigarette, but in all honesty i dont think he really wanted to so ended up back on the real deal

Had my breath test at ASDA @ 19.30 and got 2PPM carbon dioxide, which is that of a non smoker after only 1 week.

Woo Hoo! Hopefully the 11 years of smoking will heal itself.
