Do not buy Double Wear (original) it is not photogenic and makes the face look like a ghostly mask as soon as there is a flash. The Light version is fine though.
the best new foundation out there is by Bobbi Brown, you should get a sample. (Also Giorgio Armani).0 -
Thankyou very much for your help 2003wastheyear. The foundation i have on today is the double wear light. I have usually use the double wear foundation but have found it started to get too heavy and like you say it does make me look pale in pics. I will see if i can get the samples of bobbi brown and armani.Married 09/09/090

You have got great skin and lovely eyes and eyebrows,if you have a Christian Dior outlet nearby I would go to them.I personally think they are the best for make up.
best wishes for your big day ,Ivara0 -

Do you think that some powder over the foundation would help set it, as only thing was after about three hours i found that my skin was getting oily. What are the best blotting papers.Married 09/09/090 -
If you are splashing out Mac do great blotting papers that don't cake. For a bargain try the Boots own range called "Skin Clear". They are only £3 or so and in a small pack so you can pop in a bag if you are using one. I believe Supadrug do their own cheap ones too. Alternatively if you wish to carry a compact on the day MAC also do a powder which is not coloured just a blotting powder ie no caking! (£13?) xxx0
