I thought i would start a thread with pictures of me wearing different bridal makeup, as i need help with this.
This is a picture of me from a make over i had done on friday by estee lauder, they used mineral foundation on me.

This is a picture of me with make up i have done myself after getting another make over on saturday by estee lauder, they used candy cube and berry ice eye shadow and a pink blusher and rose bud lip gloss, also used double wear light 02 foundation.
I have put on mac primer (i got a sample to try) estee lauder double wear light foundation 02 (sample to try) and then i put the blusher on that i bought to wear on my wedding day. Haven't got the eyeshadow on or the lip gloss in this picture.

In this picture the foundation is by Prescriptives, it is a mineral one, i think that the foundation is too dark and would need a lighter one.

I am trying to decide wether to use mineral foundation either by Prescriptives or Elizabeth Arden or to use double wear foundation by estee lauder.
What do other people think please.

Hi i'm far from a make up expert but i think the estee lauder mineral stuff makes your face look quite shiny. But that could just be the lighting.
The prescriptives one seems to have an orange tinge to it.
The middle pics look better, but i would focus the blusher higher up.0 -
Thankyou very much for your help Beeniecat. Should i start from higher up with the blusher but still finish where it is in the picture or finish it higer up. I tried the perscriptives again and i have found that after two hours my skin is very oily and my skin is itchy, so need to take back the foundation i bought today.Married 09/09/090

Hi, i'm not sure really, but my first thought when i looked at middle pics was that there was either too much blusher, or it was too low down. I think if you keep it strictly to the high part of the cheekbones.. and don't go as low with it, IYSWIM?
It does look lovely as it is though and the shades in middle pics really suit your colouring.
But honestly i don't know much about make up at all, i just hope more people reply!!0 -
Thankyou very much for your help Beenie cat, im will have another go tomorrow with the blusher.Married 09/09/090

Hi Moneysaver,
I use the double wear foundation and concealer and swear by them both, I think the middle picture looked better but the blusher doesn't seem right, the foundation colouring suits your skin and you look so natural, but the blusher seems a little too much. I use a bronzer (and will be for my wedding day) to give a more natural look.
Hope to help! x:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
Thankyou for your help hels. I think that i need to praticse with the blusher, when the estee lauder makeup person did it, it looked really nice and natural, i think i put too much on.Married 09/09/090

I think the way you do your make up yourself is better than the make over one.Middle pictures do have a little too much blush.Last pic looks fab, love the eye shadow and the skin/foundation looks lovely."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
