Faulty DFS Chair

Hi
I'm looking for advice on what to do about my faulty DFS chair.
Last April (15mths ago) we bought a swivel chair from DFS, this weekend the metal which joins the base to the chair snapped. As my arm was at the side of the chair I am also left with a very large deep painful bruise.

My OH is waiting for someone to call him back to discuss but I would like to know where we stand with what we want.

Given that this chair was only 15 mths old I don'tt want the original fixing as it obviously wasnt well made in the first place and I would have real concerns about sitting on it. I dont even really want a new one as the old one only lasted 15mths so it doesnt bode well for a new one.

What I do want is a new chair of a different style, delivered free (as i had already paid for delivery) and with the stain protection as i had the chair protected as well.
What are my chances?
