I am loving the Frog Chorus:rotfl:
So do we, and originally it was thrown in the heart for comical value but once we mentioned it to a few friends and family they were all up for the idea. As much as we appreciate the seriousness of the day and understand the vows we will be taking also felt the need to keep things on a lighter and more jovial note to reflect our personalities.
As for with or with out you we arent too fussed about the whole lyrics thing with this one because it is the exit song and most will be wanting to rush back for the grub etc.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

The religious references thing is actually up to the registrar's interpretation of the song - my best friend got married last year and had Robbie Williams' Angels for her signing the register bit.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

So I'm American I don't know the rules here. Am I correct to say that either you have a church/ religious wedding or totally secular registrar wedding? There is no mixing at all?
So you could not have an outdoor wedding with a reading from the bible? No minister with some religious elements?0 -
Loving the Frog chorus!! that is genius. With or without you is one of my favourite songs , I think most people hearing it wouldn't go too deeply into the lyrics so should be fine. Wonderwall is good-only objection is Savage Garden but thats a completely personal thing as their songs make me feel a bit pukey lol0

Must admit i am quite shocked by the positive responses on this, after reading through several of the other posts expected a lot of comments in favour of something more classical or laid back, Thank you, xxx:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

i love U2. althugh my fave song is sunday bloody sunday, so dont know how i'd fit that into my wedding lol!!
music is really important to me - i connect it to lots of feelings and emotions. my OH is more interested in films - for our first dance, we have decided on the power of love by huey lewis and the news - from Back to the future. we just fancied something a bit dancey as we dont really like slow dances! weve also thought of bryan adams - everything i do - for walking back up the aisle.
i think its great to have some modern music in the procedings:heartsmil Getting Married 11th June 2011 to the lovely Graham:heartsmilWedding/honeymoon fund so far £69000
