'Frontline' only kills adult fleas, ticks and lice. it can take usually takes 24 hours for most of the fleas to die, but towards the end of its time on ur pet i can take longer than the 24 hours to kill them, which gives them the chance to lay up to 50 eggs per day,

this is where 'combo' comes in, it has a extra ingriediant in it which makes sure any eggs that are laid wont hatch, therefore helping get a burden under control much more quickly/effectively

most vets sell the combo for only marginly more than the ordinary frontline-so u get more for ur money
