Amazon buyer claiming not received

Hi
I have used Amazon for years, for the first time yesterday a buyer contacted me to say 'Where's my dvd it's been nearly 2 months'
My first thoughts were 2 months??? Why are you only contacting me now? I emailed him to say when it was dispatched and to ask why it has taken 2 months to report that he hasn't received it.
He replied with something along the lines of he doesn't have time to email blah blah.
Anyhow he's asking for a tracking number now, i don't have one, it's never been worth my while to send recorded on there. What do i do now? Can he chargeback?
Thanks

You'll have to refund if you have no proof of delivery. Amazon will side with him0

This sound very odd waiting 2 months before contacting you.
Do you have proof of postage so you can claim back your money from royal mail if he never recieved it.
I think you'll be forced to refund. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0 -
Some berk from Italy once waited nine months before informing me that a CD I'd sold him had not arrived.0

I had one on Amazon that waiting a month to say it hadn't arrived, then ruined my 100% feedback even though I gave her a refund!0
