Hi,
I had a load of avi files I wanted to burn off to disk, so I got the divx player, and used that to burn them.
I have tried putting the DVDs on to watch and they just keep coming up bad disk, whats going on?
Thanks

you need to convert an avi file to something most dvd players/recorders can read sadly very few play divx files unless its a brand new one You can convert avi files with Nero or there are lots of converters you can download over the net then you convert your avi file to a standard mpeg that will play on any dvd0

Actually it burns really fast (under 10 mins) so I dont think it is converting the format from avi.
If this is the case, does anyone know of a freebie that does?
EDIT; sorry didnt see that reply.
So any freebies that are really easy to use?Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

Hi i want to save,
Download the divx converter from the webpage .. https://www.divx.com
Then burn the disc as a data disc rather than a dvd disc.. using nero, then it will work on any player then supports divx files. U can get a great divx player from asda for £35.00-ish. ..good luck!"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0 -
