If they've changed the application process, it may well be that people were screened out automatically based on pre-determined selection criteria, and they've now decided that they want to view all CVs.
I'd give your CV a thorough polish, put a lot of thought into the covering letter to explain why you're so interested in working for the company, and in that particular role, and hope that you use the right buzz-words and come across as interesting and interested enough to get through to the interview - if you can get yourself that far then you're in a position to really sell yourself.
You have been rejected already why waste time and effort of everyone to be rejected again.
