    My brain has just exploded!

I am going to leave the phone/internet/mobiles to OH

Flylady was to do what needs doing around the house!!! I need clear directions, what a cop out today:rolleyes: I have cleaned out the cat litter tray swept the sunroom and hoovered downstairs.

Rest of downstairs looks OK to be honest.

Off to get some food in for dinner as we all fancy a stir fry and OH wants some nice lager as a treat for sticking to his SW diet all week.

I have half a bottle of white wine and some pimms (aldi copy) so that will do me:D

DS2 is going to a party and is giving his friend his old skateboard deck as a present. It is scruffy and worn to bits but apparantly his friend really wants it and was prepared to buy it from him:confused:

Kids are weird..........he hasnt had to spend a penny on a present though:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Progress so far, I have spoken to OH who thinks we should stick with BT for their customer service as we have had problems with the line in the past and broadband so I have changed our tariff to evenings and weekends for £11.25 a month + vat.......

I have discovered that we already have the free 2nd line from Orange so I have plugged a phone into the live box and it works:j this means I get free evening and weekend calls from BT and then free daytime calls from Orange including calls to Orange mobiles, which brings me to.......

DS1 phone is already on Orange at £15 a month DS2 is on Tmobile at £20 a month so my plan is to Change this contract to Orange getting him a new phone and £50 cash back for me :D this is what is on offer via quidco but phones4you said that they would match it.

The new Orange contract will be registered in OH name which would mean that we would get our broadband at a reduced rate...........are you keeping up?:rotfl:

Got stirfry stuff for dinner and house is tidy enough, looking forward to tomorrow as its DS1's 16th Birthday:beer:

I am wondering if when I go to the store tomorrow I can squeeze a little bit more out of them;) after all that is only matching the online deal, I want them to do better!

Morning everyone, before I start can I just say

:jHAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL SON WHO IS 16 TODAY:j

I asked him if he wanted to do anything special for his Birthday which I expected a reply of "go to the Metrocentre with friends" but instead he wants to go out for an Indian meal with the family...........awwww.

I have a voucher for buy 1 get 1 free main courses at a local Indian restaurant so I guess why not? You are only 16 once:D

Scary thought though, I had met my OH by my 16th Birthday and was engaged on my 18th Birthday and had 2 kids by the age of 23 (spent my 21st Birthday 8 months pregnant). Still happily married though so even at 16 I knew I had found the one:heart2:

    Anyway...List for today
    • Sort out new Orange contract for DS2 in OH's name
    • Manage Matched bet and place free bet if received today
    • Flylady
    • fit in a 6 mile walk somewhere
    • pay copper into boys account and get updated balances on savings accounts
I will be back at some point no doubt.
