Help - rollerball ink leak on linen sheets

Help - I just discovered (yes, a very late night) that I have left the top off a roller ball pen - blue ink - in my bed. It was initially in a few concentrated splotches.
I thought that meths was the way to treat it and poured some on, but it spread the stain everywhere. The other sheet I have treated with a Ballpoint Pen & Ink Stain Devil, where you dab the ink through onto a bit of white cloth underneath, but again it seems to have spread the stain.
I have left both soaking - the one in what remains of my meths and the other in what's left of the Stain Devil.
I am so upset, the sheets are 100% linen, a special present and one of my few luxuries...
Any help would be very much appreciated....

I always thought soaking in milk overnight removed ink stains, but not sure if the type of ink makes a difference.
Not sure if this will help you Queen Bee. Worth a try???0 -
Thank you TomsMom - I left the sheets soaking in meths overnight, and then sprayed some specialist remover on them, washed them in warm water with biological liquid and they were still heavily marked. I'm really upset, but haven't given up yet - at the moment they are soaking for 6 hours in another pre-wash whitening solution, but the ammonia mix recommended in the link is something I will certainly try afterwards!!!0
