Anybody now the lastest on the toxic sofas

Hiya, does anybody know what the outcome of the last court hearing(july 09) was regarding the toxic sofa's ?? We thought we might have heard by now what was happening, our solicitor is on holiday and there does'nt seem to be anyone who knows whats going on. Thanks for any information,

I think i saw this on Watchdog. Was this the situation where sitting on the sofas gave horrible burns due to some substance put inside them to keep them fresh??

I saw that too, some terrible burns were inflicted. It was quite shocking to see that simply sitting on your sofa was the cause. I didn't realise it was still ongoing though.

OP I assume you were affected by this?

The sofa's had some little sachets inside the sponge seats and when you sat on them and they got warm and released a toxic gas that caused severe health problems. My hubby was extremely poorly with burns and breathing problems, he suffered for 5 months. It has been going back and forth to court for the last 2 years and getting nowhere. When we do get a letter from the solicitors it might as well be wrote in French.....we dont understand all the legal jargon lol
