Graham there's a difference between twisting what someone says, and saying what the outcome of whatever bizarre idea someone comes up with would be.
I wouldn't be surprised to see this conversation soon:
G_D: We should ban food.
AN Other: What, you want people to starve?
G_D: TUT NO Did I say that? Stop twisting what I say!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Before I answer, when I was in school, it was "written".
.
Wrote is correct actually. I was writing you had wrote the same phrase before.:p
I may have the odd English problem but because I had used
"Second time you have wrote that."
Which means, I have to use wrote, If I said "Second time someone" it would have been written.
2-0 to me, thanks:)0 -

(and you missed out the question mark, by the way)
I'm backing out of this thread now, because it looks like it's just going to get silly."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

Really, if you just stuck to what he and she ACTUALLY said instead of trying to suggest they are saying soemthing else, we wouldnt get to this stage of no one having a clue what anyone else is on about.
Quite frankly, I have asolutely no idea what you are now trying to tell the forum and will leaveit here as it will just go on and on and on.0 -
