On all the moneysaving sites there have been two plans that have come on top. I list them in order

1. Dual Fuel V16 from npower

2. Online Energy Saver 6 Dual Fuel from ScottishPower

My quesrtion which tarrif works out cheaper and is more economical.

I live with my wife and 2 boys aged 9 and 8. our annual bill since last 12 months is approx approx £800-900. Currently we with southern electric.

I also hope people with any one of these tarrifs can share their experiences with me and if it really is saving them some money as shown on the sites.

Also in June this year, i have had new condensing band A boiler with new controls. that should shelve one third of my gas bills

look forward to your reply.

Noone can advise you with the limited information you have supplied.

Where you live is important as rates vary around the country.
You need to know what your annual consumption in KwH is for both fuels.

Surely the comparison sites that advised you of these plans indictated the annual cost of them?

If they were identical in cost, look at other things the comparison sites rank such as possibly customer service reputation.

A unit of electricity is one Kilowatt Hour.
The conversion from gas units to Kwh will be on your bill.

You can request this info from your current supplier if you don't have the bills anymore :)
