You may also want to try buying chopped tomatoes in a larger size tin and cutting the cost per measure rather than by the tin. Then pick up some Le Parfait glass storage jars and then refrigerate the leftover from the large tin that you don't use.

Buy loads of the Napolina chopped toms when they are on offer you really cannot get better they are soooo juicy and just streets ahead of the rest.All the supermarkets have them on offer some time or another I don't think I have paid full price for them ever with a bit of stockpiling.

i always go for lidl's out of all the brands i've tried i stick with them, asda's aren't too bad but i'd say Lidl's wins

I always used to buy either tesco value cans or asda basics range cans and go through lots of them but They seemed to have gone right down in quality, just full of the stem ends now so now i either buy tesco's brand with basil or chilli or the napolina when on offer. I would consider buying the plum toms and chopping them myself but the one's i use now are good quality so i don't need to!

I agree with napolina, Asda tend to do good offers with them, but Sainsburys is closer to me now. I buy Sainsburys Basics plum tomatoes at the minute as they're 33p as opposed to the chopped toms at 35p! You can then drain as much juice as you want.

napolina chopped toms 4 tins for £1 advertised in wednesdays sun newspaper. haven't been yet to confirm but don't think i dreamt it up.....
actually it was thursdays sun just checked, chopped or plum 96p each or 4 for £1

i usually buy morrisons value or asda smartprice, i find them both fine.
