Re: 10% egg cashback and currys 30.11.04

Some of you may remember that on 30.11.04 it was possible to get 10% cashback using egg card on top of straight 10% discount from currys - there was quite a large thread about it http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Urgents;action=display;num=1101841918;start=27#27
I have just checked my egg statement and only 5% cash back went through in relation to my purchase from currys on 30.11.04 at 11.30pm.
I emailed them about it showing my confirmation email from currys detailing the time etc.
The transaction was not showing on my statement until 02.12.04.
The email I got in reply from egg stated that since the transaction was not processed until 01.12.04 (even though it shows as 2nd on my statement!), then it did not qualify for 10% cashback.
I then phoned them and the guy is to speak to his team leader and contact me about it tomorrow.
I imagine I am not the only one here who didn't get the 10% cashback. :-/
Hopefully tomorrow it will be sorted.
