A fortune today and no mistake.
£1.70 on return bus ticket to town.
£50 at hairdressers. Don't care though...I looked as rough as a Badger's ar*e before and now I feel so much better. Love the colour and she straightened it for me (usually curly wurly I am..!) and it looks soooo different.
Then spent £7.38 in Boots for some deep moisurising conditioner & some Summer Body body lotion...I'm so desperately pale and horrid that I want to cheer myself up! Somebody on the Debt Free & Fat Free thread recommended it (thanks!) so I have gone for it.
Also spent £7 in M & S on some undies
I finally ventured into Claire's Accessories as I wanted to try something new on my hair. I spent £3.50 on a Whirl & Twirl or whatever it is called - rubber thing that you supposedly can use to make your hair go into a bun or a chignon or whatever. What a load of old RUBBISH. I am so angry at myself for buying this. Unless I am seriously thick and just can't "work" it properly, I think I may just as well have tipped £3.50 down the toilet. And it's not the sort of thing you can really take back.
Also, notably....I tried on the most goregous fabulous skirt in John Lewis. It was reduced to £22.50 (from £45 I think) and I loved it. I truly loved it. I put it back..........I was gutted but pleased with myself at the same time if that makes sense. But when I got home & tried the hair accessory, that soon sorted that out. I felt like an idiot again. :rolleyes:Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Managed a no spender here too. Went out for lunch with OH, which he paid for

Spent money yesterday though on cooking everyone dinner, Wasn't loads but I've now only got £3 in my bank account till friday. So defo going to be having some no spend days this week.
Posted off my application to I.F for CC.They've offered me 4.95% on BT for life of balance. Includes all BT done with the first 6 months of opening. So hopefully I'll transfer the Abbey CC onto that, clear plenty (i hope) within a couple of months, then transfer my remaining store card onto it.
Heres hoping!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

I've got a really bad memory and often try to hold onto thoughts of things I need to do...
At the moment I am twitching every five minutes or so thinking that I must come here and post - which would be fine if I'd actually spent something, what I've actually done is placed a bid...
Do you think anyone on Freecycle might have a spare (not abnormal) brain?
Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -

Thanks Charitygirl & Sunnydo!!!
Feeling a bit happier about things. More of the "why does this keep happening to me" upset-ness than actually him, as it had only been a few dates.
Only spent 9 pounds on Sat night which was fab - but didnt stay out that late in the end, so am on budget for this month.
Roll on Aug!! Totally had enough of work etc.
