I'm going for a no spend today - just catching up on jobs at home and lots of tv (Grand Prix qualifying and Doctor Who!)

Morning Palescene. I was hoping for a no spender too today but have sold 2 items on Amazon so need to post them. I never know if that counts as no spend as they have paid for the postage though.
Other than that will probably need to go to buy a bit of food later as running low on milk and bread but will try to resist spending too much more as getting to the end of the month and I haven't managed to stay within my 'budget' again 2nd month running!
I will do better next month ... I put my overspend down to Easter and kids off school (excuses, excuses!).
Hope everyone else has a great spend free day.

Not spent anything yet, but I am still in my pajamas.
Going out later to buy my dad a birthday present, probably just get him some chocolates or a box of shortbread (felt a bit bad not getting him anything)0 -
today i will spend nothing why is this well dh has gone to an army fishing match in cambridge (borrowed the works van so no petrol spend) BUT he left his own car in camp ok only a 5min walk away but in his car is my buggy meaning i have nothing to put ds2 in and he is too heavy to carry anywhere, i guess i should get dh to do this to me more oftern it would save us a small fortune in what i spend in the local shop just because i fancied a walk.
i also have to sit in and wait for some freecycle stuff to be collectedDFW nerd club number 039

£26 for this weeks shopping in ASDA, but taking friends out to dinner tonight to say thank you for helping us building the conservatory roof. Could be expensive but i think still cheaper than a builder would have been, plus it will be fun ofcourse.
No spend tomorrow though as houseowrk & gardening are a beckoning

I'm not planning on spending anything today. I hate going out on Saturday/Sundays. The shops are so busy. I spent £115 on shopping last week, and I've made double everything and frozen it. I've also made a load of sandwiches and froze them too. I shouldn't need any food shopping for the next 2 weeks! Well, except milk, bread and fruit etc. Was thinking about a budget of £5 a week for that. My partner has gone off to work with home made chicken curry for his tea rather than spending money at McDonalds or somewhere. A no spend day here hopefully!0

I'm also going for a no spender, have done all the cleaning and washing, and now going to spend next 3 hours attempting to cook lasanges (one meat, one veg) from scratch for dinner party tonight. All ingredients bought out of weekly food budget and cooking everything myself, including potato wedges, wish me luck! will try not to burn down kitchen...
putting the flat on the market next week hopefully, so will be doing some estate agent investigating.
have a good weekend everyone

Another no spender for me! I am taking my laptop out to the green with my oh to do some work on a fundraising proposal for my work project (he is fundraising manager at work, so good opportunity to get it done!)
We may go for a walk later, or if he decides to go swimming, i will get him to drop me at the gym (no spend as already paid for!)
I will make it to Tuesday without spending a dime - only 2 more days to go! (oh, and I may try to not spend anything on tuesday as well!)0
