im sure that paypal will tell them to return the jeans (at their cost) before they will issue the refund, if you want to reply to any of the messages then do it all through the paypal dispute.0

No reply and they gave me a neg.
To me (Joe Bloggs non expert ebayer), it doesn't really matter what the hole was like. The fact it was there should have been enough for a full refund imo.
If you didn't want to just refund in full at the start, you might have been better asking for a pic as proof there was a hole and then you would refund in full?
As it is, you just told the buyer 'no, no postage refund' before you even asked about the hole. Maybe the buyer got the impression you weren't going to be too helpful?
Like I say though, I'm no expert, it was just a thought.

Paypal dispute closed now. I was never given the chance to reply on paypal (well work it out) they then suddenly took it from a dispute to a claim.
I got this from paypal:
As you may already be aware, PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy applies only
to the delivery of goods and not to complaints about the attributes or
quality of goods received through an eBay transaction. Therefore, we will
not conduct an investigation into this matter at this time.
Do i do nothing, do i risk sending them another email and saying send it back for a full refund and getting a complaint against me for harassment???Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
I see your point aliasojo. I wasn't as blunt as that, i think id put something along the lines of only winning bid will be refunded.
I asked how big the hole was, forward thinking to if they said, its fixeable, i could sew it up, i could then of offered partial refund for the trouble of having to sew it up.
If they'd said, its big and not fixable. Then definately would of said send them back straight away.
I appreciate my q of how big is the hole, obviously wasn't a good q to ask.
But i thought it was at the time as though we could come to an agreement.
If the hole was fixable and they wanted to fix it and wear the jeans, then that would of been fine.
I just thought we would of communicated more before i got such a quick neg. After all it took 24 hours for them to reply to my email of me saying sorry and them asking if i refunded postage, so i just assumed i had someone who was happy to communicate more.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
