Bad Batch Bought From Ebay.

I recently bought 16 Mach III razor blades of Ebay, however its clear that they are not fit for purpose, do I have any rights in this case?

Thanks in advance.

Contact the seller and speak to them see what they are willing to do about i, Give them a chance to sort the matter out.

If no joy there open an Item not as described in PayPal. You will be asked to return it for a refund. A good seller will pay your return postage but they dont have to. So if they don't it may not be worth your while returning it. No mtter what you will be able to leave appropriate feedback

Ebayer was honest and gave me a full refund and simply told me to bin the blades.

Its good to learn there are decent people out there.

For future reference, razor blades are one of the most commonly faked items sold on the internet, especially ebay.

There was a report a while ago showing that only a tiny percentage were the real deal (and were quite a high price...)

While you think the seller is being nice, I would put my money on those blades being fake, and would suggest you even send them back to Gillette and get them to look at them.

It's very unlikely that a faulty batch would leave the Gillette factory!!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    ^what pinkshoes says^

The seller is obviously selling fakes and has got away with this one at the cost of a refund. This is just like fining shoplifters £80, a minor business expense. Shop him to eBay and Gillette.

Send them to Gillette and let them know where they came from, I seem to remember someone doing it a few years ago on here and they received about 16 real blades as a replacement and a thankyou for alerting them to the fakes.

Thanks I may do that if it prevents this sort of scam continuing, however to send these blades to Gillette I will be out of pocket so it may not be worth it.
