website builders, can anyone recommend?

i have been sitting on a website idea for quite a while, i am very passionate about what i have come up with would be successful but i know that success will be a lot to do with the person or company that i find to build it(plus my hard graft after it's built), this is where i'm stuck. i have all the ideas but i have no idea on what type of website i will need in order for the website to be found by search engines, obviously i realise that i can't go into detail on here as to what i have in mind but in general i think it will need around 6-7 pages with the ability for the user to be able to place there own ads and to be able to pay online but this is only a small part of the website, it's not solely an advertising site. i will need the site to be found easily by search engines plus i would want to manage the front page and additional pages myself but with a board that is easy to work as i'm not brilliant whan it comes to techni stuff!!!!

The idea will need at least four other duplicate sites with in the 1st year and after the 1st year i would hope that the idea could become franchisible with hopefully the potential of 100's of new sites needing to be duplicated, this is not a get rich quick scheme it is a real work from home business opportunity that will benifit many people in the future to work from home and make real money. my idea is to get stay at home mums or dads to run each site but offering them the business opportunity at a realistic affordable price

my question is does anybody know or could anyone recommend someone that could build my idea. many thanks

Sorry to say thats been done already... google and yell.com spring to mind. I don't want to rain on your bonfire quite so early, but when businesses can get proven results with google adwords, for pennies per click, why would they pay one of your hundreds of franchise's, all competing for the same top listing on google. Where their adwords add is garuanteed to appear anyway?

I hope you prove me wrong but I think a website like this would be expensive to develop and would have a very limited uptake.

Try posting this thread on UK Business Forums. There are lots of people there that can help you assess your business and advise about how to go about building your website. etc.

I can build and deploy websites really quickly in Joomla and with just a couple of hours or less training hand them over for a relative numpty to maintain from then on. There is a really neat Joomla component called Joomlapack which allows you to take backup snapshots of websites and reinstate them elsewhere. You could then modify the copy and publish as a completely new website. It also includes quite a few SEO related features and add-ons, together with stuff that makes it easy to include Google Analytics code and other necessary goodies.

There are already a lot of websites out there where for a small fee people can join and instantly have their own duplicated website etc etc.

So what would make yours any different to theirs? What would be your USP?

To have it built you'd need to use a developer that understood what you're on about. Not a "normal web designer/programmer", it'd have to be somebody who understood about turnkey systems, tracking, affiliates, optimisation, SEO, back end systems including mailing lists, autoresponders, etc etc. A lot of designers just "make nice looking websites" and know nothing about the other side of things.

But the biggest hurdle beyond the build is the copywriting and marketing. Getting people to come to and use your site ... and then getting people to part with money to have a site like yours.
