Pension term assurance, level term asssurance, family income benefit, whole of life (to name but a few). What terms would be offered and at what premium wont be known without referring details to the underwriters of various companies.
You can ignore quote portals (websites) as they will be no use to you because they target "clean health" cases and quote on that basis. They also will not advise you on which companies are likely to take the case on. Your best bet is to speak to an independent financial advisor or independent protection advisor and make them aware of the details and they can phone around the underwriting teams to get an indication of the likely terms.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I have had a similar case to this, I submitted to a number of insurers iniially and the one that came out best was legal and general. I don't know why, it was rated with an exclusion but not by as much as scot prov or bright grey. I'm not saying they will be the best insurer in your case but if you contact the breast cancer association they may have a list of insurers which THEY THINK are good to use.I am a Mortgage Adviser
